After the end of my long term assignment, I found myself employed and without a job at the same time, a situation that is unfortunately quite common in the U.K. due to the so called 0 hours contracts. Deciding to fully embrace the paradoxality of it, I started emailing my employer a weekly report of the tasks and activities of what had now became my spare time.
